The Coastal Communities Resilience to Climate and Diarrhoea (C2R-CD) project of the University of Ghana, led by the Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies, has offered an exciting learning opportunity to its four Ph.D. students to embark on a three-month educational trip to Denmark.
The four PhD sudents including Ms. Delia Akosua Bandoh, Mr. Michael Kwame-Biney, Mr. Ayitiah Joseph Nii Armah, and Mr. Prosper Adiku safely arrived in Aarhus Denmark. The learning trip has been made possible through a partnership with Aarhus University, the project?s Danish partner.
As an exchange programme, they are expected to interact with students and faculty of Aarhus University in their various disciplines. They will also participate in some agreed-tailored training in enhanced data analyses, whiles participating in a series of seminars to deepen their understanding of topical issues of mutual interest to the two universities. They will also be offered supervised experiences both at in and off-campus locations which will enhance their knowledge through first-hand exposure and allow them to expand their global and cultural competency skills.
The students are being accompanied by a number of the C2R CD researchers, some who will join them later.
