As part of efforts to bring knowledge into action from and between Danida-funded research projects, the Danida Fellowship Centre organized a two days event at the Training Centre for Development Cooperation (TCDC) in Arusha, Tanzania, on March 28-29,1 2023. It brought together 50 researchers from 20 institutions in 7 African countries, Denmark and Australia. The Coastal Communities Resilience to Climate and Diarrhoea (C2R-CD) project was represented by Dr Peter Sorenson and Lois Eyram Adom.

Framed under the theme ?Equitable Partnerships in Development Research Projects?, the event brought together experiences, knowledge, and considerations between FFU-funded research projects to address and overcome structural power imbalances in research partnerships for the Global North and South.

The event promoted mutual learning between the South and the North partners on the Danida-funded research projects. A mutual platform has been created to facilitate continuous information sharing and skills transfer.

Doctoral students on the Danida-funded research projects are thus encouraged to publish collaborative papers to promote mutual learning.
